Patient table for refractive laser surgery
AKRUS has many years of experience in the development and manufacture of patient tables for refractive laser surgery. The high-tech LSC neo patient table has become a staple among numerous laser manufacturers and users thanks to its precise adjustment options, integrated safety features, and user-friendly controls.
Thanks to the high-precision adjustment options in the Z, X, and Y directions, the patient table can be precisely aligned with the laser’s focal point. The headrest can be adjusted vertically by 50 mm using an electric motor and can also be tilted manually 20° downward and 5° upward.
Depending on the application, there are two safety options to choose from. The first option is an integrated safety system with an interlock connection to the connected laser. This makes the system suitable for use with both excimer lasers and femtosecond lasers with a fixed laser head. Alternatively, an additional safety foot switch can be used. This switch selectively authorizes the system’s movements, thereby preventing unintended movements of the system.
The optional 35° swivel of the upper section to the left and/or right allows two lasers to be combined into a laser suite. The respective axes remain movable even when the unit is swiveled out. An analog joystick allows for precise control of the movement speed. The speed range is from 12 mm/s to 0.2 mm/s.
Our patient tables for refractive laser surgery are used with various systems from leading laser manufacturers.
